Instead, the injured worker was placed on a gurney with the wrecking bar still attached and was escorted down the roadway by emergency vehicles. At the trauma center, the worker is said to have received medical treatment, while workers at the work site were provided with emotional support assistance services. The condition of the injured worker is currently unknown.
