Michael Andrew Rueff (Andrew) is an experienced trial lawyer who has handled hundreds of cases on behalf of injured individuals and their families. He has successfully tried dozens of jury and bench trials to verdict, and has argued several cases relating to personal injury and insurance matters before our state appellate courts. He also routinely represents injured workers before the Mississippi Workers Compensation Commission.
Andrew focuses his practice on representing individuals who have been injured, killed, or disabled in accidents, work-related incidents, or by the wrongful acts of others. He has recovered millions of dollars in awards and settlements on behalf of his clients against national insurance companies and large corporations.
A lifelong Mississippian, Andrew is a graduate of Millsaps College and the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he worked as a faculty research assistant in the area of capital punishment policy, and as an advocate for children of low-income families in the University’s Civil Legal Clinic. He currently lives in Jackson with his wife (a disability rights advocate) and two sons. Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, playing music, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
