Earlier this year in February two Louisiana workers were injured as a result of a “struck by” accident on Louisiana’s Causeway bridge. As a result of the allegedly distracted driving accident, one of the bridge workers involved broke three ribs and the other worker sustained cuts to the body. According to Causeway General Manager Carleton Dufrechou, the work truck that the workers were using was “probably a total loss” in the accident. Fortunately, according to Dufrechou, both of the bridge workers that were involved in the accident will “be ok [sic]”.
